Physical Intuition Interaction Design Human Behaviour

Slice is a digital-first banking platform built for a generation that expects more from financial experiences than functionality alone. Every interaction, whether on-screen or in-hand, is treated as an opportunity to build trust, delight and personality.

As a Visual Designer, I worked across the brand's physical and digital ecosystem, designing product experiences from the debit card kit and ATM journeys to in-app illustrations and campaigns—bringing Slice's personality to every interaction.

DESIGNING THE ATM EXPERIENCE WHERE THE GOAL WASN’T TO REDESIGN AN ATM’S VISUALS.

BUT TO REIMAGINHE HOW USING ONE FEELS.

Traditional ATM interfaces are designed around instructions. The result is often a series of text-heavy screens that demand more attention than the task itself.

Cash withdrawals are already high-focus moments. Users are handling money, making decisions and waiting for a machine to respond. The interface shouldn't add to that mental load.

The experience was redesigned to reduce cognitive effort through a visual-first approach. Purposeful illustrations, motion and clear information hierarchy support the copy at every step, allowing users to instantly understand each state without relying solely on text. From processing and cash dispensing to success and error states, every screen was designed to feel calm, intuitive and reassuring.

Big thank you to Amrit Aaryan for bringing life to my visuals using his motion design magic.
